The Proxy
proxy 1. a person authorized to act for another person, an agent or substitute 2. the authority to act for another 3. the written authorization to act in place of another.
The Proxy is a cultural and artistic magazine that features different forms of writing and media pertaining specifically to the African Diaspora (North America, South America, Europe, and Africa) and is published once per semester. Owing much to our under-representation on campus, it is our mission to produce a magazine for Columbia University students of the African Diaspora that serves as an outlet for full artistic expression.
